For the past few years, I’ve been connecting my passion for learning about nature with my passion for child welfare and social justice, and bringing my experiences in community urban agriculture to topics like trauma informed healing modalities and nutritional education. It all falls under public health, and assessing needs and progress towards achieving equitable public health using the tools of the Social Determinants of Health.
